東方実在相 ~ Dream Logical World (v1.02a) - Overdrive 1cc (Youmu/Koishi)

And surprise! Except not really, because you already saw the replay screen in the other runs!
So yeah, I ended up getting Overdrive 1cc with this team. This is my main team too, so it barely needs explaining, but as a refresher:
Stage control is better than most teams. Youmu's phantom slashes affect an area in front of her, so she can keep them up on both horizontal and vertical-moving enemies, complete with the highest DPS in the game at 145. Koishi is an option-placing shot, so you can hit without being under the boss. With 116 DPS, 60 of which being the main shot, it's not too bad for something like that, but it does mean you have to play without unfocusing to get the best out of her. Also, Youmu's shot has nowhere nearly as much use on Lunatic and Overdrive as it does on Hard, and especially on Easy and Normal.
The main draw of this team though, is, as expected, Youmu's Aspect Shift. Shooting a main shot in 8 directions and being able to shotgun with it without hurting yourself (outside of dual bosses) is a godsend, and is basically a pattern skipper. Koishi's Aspect Shift is more for defensive utility, as during that AS, you will autobomb on hit. It does mean that you'll always get the full current score and PIV of that AS, instead of the linearly decreasing amount after 8 frames.
The stage 4 boss is Aya and Kosuzu, and here, normally for NMNB, they are the worst boss of the 6. But for 1cc you just skip everything with Youmu's AS. As BUCHI-san described, "this shot is for those who want to clear Overdrive at any cost".
The main problem about Overdrive is racking up resources, since the first life is at 80 million, Stage 2 is a wallfest, and overall it's hard to get a long AS in this difficulty to make getting score easier.
I did this 1cc on the second attempt that made it out of Stage 2. Yeah, it's that bad.
Also, on the day this video is going up, it will be the first anniversary of Dream Logical World. I did this 1cc some time before the other 5 from the previous days, but I felt like it was only fitting to have this be my send-off for this game. This game is special to me. I don't know, about the main part of the story and its characters (read: mainly Aimi), I don't... really relate to them, but yet, it feels resonating at the same time...? That's how special this game is to me, its atmosphere felt perfect, despite the lack of personal relatability. I always think about it whenever I'm traveling somewhere, for example. Maybe it's because of the Extra Stage theme. I always get that stuck in my head in those days. Maybe because of its Music Room comment. I don't know.
Whatever the case, happy first anniversary, DLW. And thank you to Team Analogue Reverie for this amazing game.
