Zelda II Enhanced PC Edition Fan Game Impressions (It's Awesome!)

I saw there was a Zelda II PC Edition: Link is Adventuresome fan game from game developer, hoverbat, and downloaded it. I initially thought it was a HD update with some quality of life improvements, but it's so much more. I'm loving every moment of it. I've only gotten up to the island palace, but here are my impressions so far, focusing on the updates that I've really liked.
