COP28: IAEA Statement on Nuclear Power Backed by Dozens of Countries

On 1 December, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi announced the IAEA Statement on Nuclear Power at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). This statement, supported by dozens of countries, highlights the role that nuclear power has in the global transition to net zero. The IAEA will Participate in COP28 from 20 November to 12 December to educate and advocate for the use of nuclear science and technology to help combat climate change.
